MARDLE

Last updated: May 23, 2026

Overview

MARDLE is designed to keep data collection light. Most normal gameplay, progress, tokens, and settings stay on your browser or device.

The app also offers optional shared leaderboards through a locally generated anonymous ID and Supabase, plus optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob on mobile.

Gameplay And Device Data

MARDLE may store gameplay-related and preference-related information such as score history, Global Daily Challenge state, token balances, timing data, saved runs, theme choice, music choice, and audio settings.

This information is generally stored locally on your browser or device so the game can restore your progress and preferences on that same device.

Leaderboards

Shared leaderboard features are optional. If you choose to use them, MARDLE creates a random anonymous ID on your device to identify your leaderboard entries.

Shared leaderboard records may include that anonymous user ID, generated adjective-animal name, selected-day or challenge date, score details, and update timestamps. Public leaderboards use generated names instead of real names.

Rewarded Ads

MARDLE only shows mobile ads when you explicitly choose to watch a rewarded ad to earn a token.

Google AdMob and related privacy tooling may process device and advertising information, including the Android Advertising ID where applicable, to deliver, limit, and measure rewarded ads subject to your region and privacy choices.

You can learn more about Google's privacy practices in the Google Privacy Policy.

Sharing And Service Providers

MARDLE uses Supabase for leaderboard storage and Google services for rewarded ads.

MARDLE does not intentionally request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location for normal gameplay.

Your Choices

You can continue playing offline without using shared leaderboards.

If ad privacy choices are required for your region, the mobile app provides an in-app Ad Privacy Choices entry point.

Retention

Local single-player data remains on your device until you clear app storage, clear browser storage, or uninstall the app.

Shared leaderboard rows remain in Supabase so the public boards can preserve score history.
